I LOVED this drink. The fresh mint and lime are a delicious combo. It was a little sweet though so next time I will add a little less simple syrup and more lime juice.

I followed the recipe exactly and it's delicious. A perfect cool down for this Texas summer stretch of 100 degree weeks. All I need to do on the next round is line the glass rim with lime and sugar. Thanks Giada!

I substituted 2 cups of seltzer water for the club and vodka and it was really good. I like how you can taste all of the different flavors. I muddled the mint leaves really well, especially since I didn't have a full packed cup's worth from my plant, and it turned out wonderfully minty, as well as tangy with the lime. Also, the full cup of sugar seemed to work well with the tart seltzer water.

I followed this recipe to the letter. The simple syrup DID NOT make 1 1/2 cups as indicated. And frankly, it was a non-descript drink. I added more lime juice and more mint muddled in the glass just to give it more flavor. Sorry Giada...a real miss.

This is a nice twist on a rum mojito, especially as I prefer vodka. But it's very sweet indeed, I only used half of the simple syrup.

I read the other comments before making the mojito, which was very helpful. Therefore, I cut the simple syrup down only to a half cup. I used a half cup of sugar and a half cup of fresh mint, instead of club soda I used a can of lemon lime drink. My hubby who is a mojito fan said that it was very good. Thanks again Giada
