Light, fluffy, and easy to make. Following the feedback, I drained off the oil and then took a teaspoon and added back to the mixture and did not get the oily feedback. However, the tradeoff of less bacon taste and thus I would slightly increase bacon to increase that bacony taste. I also added some cajun spice to heat it up.

Very oily. I would drain off the grease from the veggies the next time also. I would use cream cheese too instead of mascarpone cheese to expensive and bland.

I enjoyed the flavor of this dish, but like others' reviews, I found it to be much too greasy. I would make it again, but pour off the oil. I am sure it will taste just as good (if not, better without the greasiness.

I thought the flavor combinations in this dip were very good. Mine also turned out really oily after baking and I didn't even add any additional olive oil, so we did not eat hardly any of it. I am definitely going to make it again and will drain the oil off of the veggies before putting them in the food processor. The pita chips were delicious so everyone ate them up!

I love the flavor combination of artichokes, bacon, and scallions. My only negative is the lemon juice...I thought it added a slightly odd flavor to the dip.

Fantastic and easy! I brought this to a Super Bowl party, and everything was a hit! I will recommend draining the oil before putting the components in the food processor. I used mascarpone cheese, and it was very rich. Also, a lot of the guys loved the pita chips.

This recipe is delicious but I made a substition... From experience I know that the dips that Giada makes with mascarpone cheese turn out bland. I like mascarpone cheese for creamy sauces but not for dips; it just doesn't have the nice creamy cheese flavor like cream cheese does. So, I substituted most of the mascarpone with cream cheese. I used 12 oz cream cheese and 4 oz mascarpone cheese. It makes for a delicious dip!

This is good. Not fabulous but nothing wrong with it at all. I suspect I am more a cream cheese person than mascarpone. A little on the bland side. So we enjoyed it, but I doubt I'll be making it again.
I just made the dip and used store-bought pita chips. So this is not a review of the chips.
