Thank you thank you thank you for this recipe! There's nothing I can say that isn't already enthusiastially expressed in the other reviews. This has already been requested for another dinner I'm hosting.

What can I say...this was a fantastic dessert! Not only was it easy to make, the result was phenomenal!!! Really, if my guests could have licked the plate, they would have. All chocolate lovers should try this.
I served mine with berries and a scoop of homemade espresso ice cream (opted out of the Frangelico.

wasn't rich and chocolatey as the show made it sound...it was dried and bland. The cake wasn't sweet enough and it didn't taste anything like any chocolate cakes.

I have tried several times to make molten cakes, but the time and temperature have always been wrong, and I have never been able to turn them out.
But using this recipe, I made 8 cakes (not six and baked about 11 minutes in my oven. It was easy to see the edges looking cakey and just the center still looked wet. They flipped out easily, had runny centers and were just delicious. I think the slightly smaller size of the cakes helped them not to collapse, plus, they are so rich, it seemed the perfect amount.
    Thanks Giada!!

DELISH! add some vanilla ice cream for extra wow. don't bake a minute over 10, or you'll lose the flowing lava inside. if you don't have ramekins you can use a muffin pan just as easily.

These cakes were very easy to make, and easy to serve! Anyone can make a beautiful presentation with these cakes, and they have a very rich flavor! One of the best desserts I've ever made... a HUGE hit at my dinner party!

While discussing recipes with a customer, she told me of this one and went out of her way to bring the name of the recipe and episode. It was so easy to make and a huge hit with my kids and their friends. Warm is best, but oh my goodness, it's a little bit of heavenly comfort that warms your soul with each bite.
