I really liked this dish. I have a very very picky eater and she enjoyed it very much so she had asked for it again.I did not use a lot of mint, i used some basil also , and didnt use the amaretto. this time when i make it i will add just a little more mint (can add not take away and amaretto. it is very refreshing. good hint is to make some up and add it to half of the melon see if you like it then you wont waste the dish.it does get better over time.

Awesome, very refreshing!! Someone brought this to my brothers 40th Birthday Party and it was the hit of the party (along with the wine!!. Everyone wanted the recipe. I am not always a big fan of Mint in dishes but this was the exception!! I could not quit eating it.

I made this last week, skipped the amaretto ( didn't have any . It was WONDERFUL . My husband and even my 14 yr old loved it. It was so easy to make, taking it camping with us. Going to make the dressing ahead of time and add it when we are ready to eat it. THANK YOU GIADA

Made this for the moms in my family for Mother's Day. Made it the day before just as the recipe says (Amaretto and all a delicious hit. I will make this again, and since it held up so well making it the day before, I'm going to make it for our next picnic or camping trip.

After all the reviews I was looking forward to trying this - and I couldn't even eat it. It was really gross. Maybe I used too much mint... It gave it a really harsh herby flaovur instead of a gentle minty one. Not going to waste good fruit on this again.

I skipped the amaretto (didn't have it, plus I'm pregnant and we loved it. Used fresh mint from my herb garden, and it was wonderful. It would be even better with the amaretto!

Thought that this was good and refreshing...I did, however add more almaretto that suggested. You just couldn't taste it at all w/ that small amt. and it made all the difference in adding a little bit more. : By the way, I don't know what in the world a BUNCH of mint translates to...so, i just winged it.
