I didn't care for the feta but the rest was great! It is very light and refreshing and easy. I am the only one that will eat this in my family and it was easy to adapt down to one person.

This was a great summer salad. I used arugula/spinach mix and sliced an avocado and placed on top of the salad. And just before serving I sprinkled some chili lime tortilla strips made by Texas Toast on top. The tortilla strips added a little crunch. The salad is fast and easy and not a lot of prep. Enjoy

Was sceptical esp watermelon and feta but boy was it goooood. Used greek sheep feta and cut it smaller than 1/2in cube(it can be salty and I used watercress mixed w/argula.Everything fr lemon zest to greens to watermelon just compliment each other. A def for a hot summery day.The water melon can make the salad very wet, so put it in right before serving.

How refreshing! My husband thought the watermelon was tomato and when he took a bite he couldn't stop laughing because he was so surprised. Very light and refreshing salad! Will make again!

This was fantastic. Was a bit skeptical at first. The watercress tasted a little bitter/strong by itself but with the watermelon, feta, lemon zest/juice, olive oil and pepper, it was outstanding and very refreshing. The ingredients went so well together. Delicious, light and especially good and appreciated on a hot day (90 degrees here today and....it's easy to make. Nice! Will be making this one lots.

This seemed so unique, I just had to try it. The dish is unbelievably good! It's hard to quit eating it. My whole family loved it. I'm printing off the recipe for family and friends. Giada's recipe's never disappoint. Always simple, always delicious. Thanks Giada!

Delicious. I used arugula instead of watercress. Unique, and plenty of room for improvisation. I add crumbled bacon- the crisp saltiness contrasts well with the sweet watermelon. Make the dressing portion of this ahead of time, and only add it when you're ready to serve it- that way the ingredients don't have too much time to soak up the flavors, and they still retain their own oomph without being overwhelmed.

I made this last night, and I'm so glad I did. I used spinach instead of watercress, but followed the rest of the directions. The flavors of the dressing and salty feta made such a nice contrast with the sweet watermelon. My guest enjoyed it too. Next time, I think I'll add some sliced almonds. Thanks Giada!

could not find any watercress so i used some fresh arugula that i found at the farmers market. i also added some apple and grapefruit mint from my backyard. this is a perfect light salad that can be used as a side or just as a meal itself. i love feta with that salty bit and the peppery arugula is wonderful with the sweet watermelon and slight tang from the lemon. the mint added another clean element and watermelon and mint go so well together!

I really didn't think I'd like this but I'm pretty open minded so I figured I'd try it. I've never had watercress and I believe I've had fetta once but didn't like it. Once I'd made it I'd found that I liked everything but the fetta, and I'd probably prefer a little less olive oil, probably half. Is there any other cheese anyone could recommend for this recipe?
