I made this chili following Giada's recipe with no substitutions. We liked it but didn't love it. Not what I would call a chili, the fennel seed overwhelmed the dish. It's a pleasant flavor but just too much like sausage. The corn was the best part. I have better white chicken chili recipes that I will make before this one.

I make a great traditional chili and wouldn't think to make any other kind but I saw this yesterday and thought I would try it since it was using non-traditional chili ingreadients (white beans, chicken, swiss chard.... I also thought it would be weird to make chili in the summer but this seems to be a great summer-time chili. Also note I put my own little spin on Giada's recipe just to experiement and keep it lively and it came out great (cilantro instead of parsley, queso blanco instead of parmesan, couple dashes of hot sauce to my bowl

Once again, like a LOT of Giada's recipes that I make, this one was one WELL DONE!! Thanks Giada!

This chili is soooooo good. I didn't have any oregano so I used Herbes de Provence. I didn't have ground chicken so I used ground turkey not breast meat. IT turned out great. Didn't need extra salt or anything. I don't know how you keep thinking up great recipes that are good for you but not in a boring way Giada but keep up the great work!! :

I saw this recipe yesterday morning and couldn't wait to make it. Just like some of the other reviewers, I couldn't find ground chicken or swiss chard, so I used ground turkey and spinach instead. I thought it was very good and should supply 4-6 more meals for me (I live alone. Believe it or not, the next time I make it I will probably use more spices. I think it could be more flavorful if I up the chili powder and red pepper a bit more. For those of you that are reading this recipe and didn't see the actual episode, Giada added the spices for a minute or two before the chicken to toast them and bring out their flavor.

I grow my own chard so am always looking for recipes that use it. I had some frozen chicken breasts so I cubed them instead of using ground chicken. I also don't like fennel so I substituted an equal amount of coriander instead. The chili turned out great! Very flavorful - and the best thing is I made it using ingredients that I already had in my pantry/freezer. Excellent recipe, Giada!!

Find little fault with Giada's recipes but not this one. Not my favorite. Trying to find a place in my recipe box to write "Don't make this again" but it never goes to a place where I can label and/or note a recipe.

This was quick and easy. They didn't have ground chicken at the store so I used ground turkey. This was a great way to sneak some green in on my kids I used baby spinach instead of swiss chard. No red pepper flakes for us either but my kids ate it up.Great one.

I made this today and made a few changes, so I could use what I had in my pantry. I didn't use fennel seeds and instead of corn used the rest of some pasta from the pantry. All in all it is a great change for the summer for a chili and the house did smell og great chili.

I saw this today as well and decided to make it -- didn't use quite as much chili powder (and left out the red pepper for my kids and it was SO easy and delicious. Love the fennel and swiss chard. The bread was gone in under 5 minutes! This will definitely be in our dinner rotation!
