I added about a cup of chopped kalmata olives the second time I did this and, hard to believe, it was even better.

I was hesitant to use 1 lb of bacon with this recipe so I substituted 1/2 lb of pancetta that was sliced thickly between 1/8 and 1/4 inch thick. I cut it up to resemble the thick sliced bacon pieces. I thought the recipe was very good but it was quite salty to me, even though I cut back on the salt too. My husband and my neighbors (I sent 2 plates over to them thought it was very good. It looked very delicious--posted on Facebook and received lots of comments. Other than the salt and bacon, I wouldn't change anything. I don't understand how some people thought it didn't have enough flavor!

We loved this recipe. My kids don't really like seafood unfortunately. So I grilled chicken and used that instead. I sauteed onions and red peppers with the garlic before adding the tomatoes and cream. This recipe was outstanding.

Giada, I loved this recipe!!!!!! I did make a few changes because my family doesn't eat lobster. I followed the recipe exactly except I used more shrimp in place of the lobster and instead of the clam juice I used chicken broth. Oh, and I used regular Mezze Penne because I don't care for the taste of all whole wheat pastas(I do like whole wheat lasagna noodles. Thanks for the recipe. With exception of my six year old son who refused to eat it everyone else cleaned their plate including my three year old daughter and went back for seconds.

It was good for something different. My family liked it, but it just wasn't as tasty as I had hoped it would be after watching Giada make it on tv. The main problem was that the sauce never thickened so it was pretty drippy. Lobster was expensive so the next time I made it, I used frozen langostino tails. I also added asparagus and some onion. These revisions made it more to my liking. Next time, I'll add some mushrooms as well.

I was so excited for this and wanted to love it.... however, I thought it was just okay... nothing super memorable and not worth the expense.

Watched Giada make it on her show today, and tried it myself for dinner tonight. I followed the recipe exactly, and it was fantastic! My husband raved! This is a keeper, and definitely will be a dish to share with friends and family!

A really delicious dish once I made it to my liking. I'm not a fan of lobster or herbs really so I left them out and added more shrimp since I love shrimp. I also cut the amount of bacon in half cause I don't like to eat a lot of bacon but it's still full of flavor and really delicious!!
