Loved it, Giada...Thanks! It's a pricey dish, but such a treat and the perfect dish for my son's engagement dinner! Elegant and tasty...everyone loved it!

Love this recipe and super easy. Drain off all but 2 tbsp of the bacon grease and used on 1 tsp of salt. Next time I'll add red pepper flakes and diced onions with the garlic....

Wow...This recipe is fantastic. I now use this basic recipe as my basic red sauce, excluding the clam juice, and seafood. The bacon adds incredible flavor. I have since used this basic sauce recipe and added chicken one time and sausage another. The only change I make is that I add 1 diced onion to the garlic when sauting.

Delicious! Made this for myself and 2 girl friends Didn't use the lobster to save money & poured out about half of the bacon grease. Had such rich flavors! Want to make again soon for my boyfriend!

Wow! I normally think pasta dishes are a waste of calories... but this one is amazing! It's a must try. I didn't use the lobster and I didn't miss it. I also drained most of the bacon grease, it just seemed like way too much to eat.

This was a great recipe. Very high class, something that you would purchase in an expensive restaurant and really not that hard to make. I too, did not use lobster. Instead used crab meat along with shrimp. Was a little concerned with the clam juice flavor, but it turned out fine for our taste buds. I think along with the sauteed garlic, I will add onions and mushrooms next time I make this dish. Also put Parmesan cheese on the table for who ever want to add the extra flavor. Yum

Very flavorful pasta dish even though I made adjustments. Living in the midwest, fresh lobster tails are hard to come by and the frozen ones didn't look that appealing, so I substituted clams & crab meat but still added the lb. of shrimp. I only used about 3/4# bacon and then drained half the fat because the thought of eating all that saturated fat made me cringe. And I used half & half in lieu of the cream. The cutbacks didn't make the recipe suffer at all.

Incredible recipe! I made this for my husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law and myself for dinner and it was the perfect and decadent dish! I did remove about 1/8 c of the bacon fat and it still turned out perfect. Definitely boil the lobster and pasta first then move onto the rest of the items.
