I love Giada, but I was not a big fan of this recipe. It was really too bland for my taste, and it seemed so "dry." I know that this was part of what makes it healthier, but it just wasn't that great tasting. Salmon also did not have enough seasoning, in my opinion. I usually put a variety of herbs and a little spice when I cook salmon, and it tastes much better to me. I actually have a lot of the pasta left over and I don't feel like eating it as is, so I will probably either make a pesto to add or it or just add a spaghetti sauce to it tomorrow.

I thought this recipe was perfectly put together. I used steamed vegies for the base with the juice from one lemon. . It was really wonderful. I will make this again for sure.

Wonderful, easy, and super healthy! That is what insipired me to make this dish. I couldn't believe how easy it was and how much flavor it had. The lemon zest, lemon juice, fresh herbs went perfect with the pasta. The only thing I change was I added more olive oil and added balsalmic to the finished plate. Was so good : I'm making this again in the future!

I was pleasantly surprised that the pasta actually had a really good flavor to it with such simple ingredients. I've had wheat pasta before and it always seems off when used as a substitute for the regular. This was perfect and for the first time i didn't notice it was wheat. I didn't change a thing in the pasta recipe, and we all enjoyed it. I made this pasta with Giada's "Salmon with Lemon, Capers, and Rosemary" that was cooked in foil packets on the grill, rather than the one provided in this recipe.

This is a little labor intensive but, I think, worth it. I grilled the salmon fillet and cut into serving pieces. I made the lemon infused EVOO which added nice compliment to the pasta (recipe of line. I found a Whole Wheat Pasta Blend which was very good and a little lighter than pure whole wheat. I also tried fried capers but I didn't notice a difference so I won't do that again.
There were only two of us so I easily cut the recipe in half except for the salmon which I cooked extra for leftovers.
I served this with Watermelon-Cucumber Salad from the Food Network Magazine.

This is the first dish I've ever made in my life, meaning, I was not at all an experienced cook. But this dish turned out to be fabulous. I made it for my mom who is a very tough critic to please, and she loved it as well.
If you want to cook something easy, quick, and very light, this is the dish!

This recipe was SO simple, yet it was AMAZING. I love how healthy it was and so fresh tasting and delicious. The only thing I did differently was substitute linguine for the spaghetti. I didn't feel heavy afterward and I will definitely be adding this to my collection!
