Great way to use up some of the swiss chard I picked up from the farmer's market. Nice healthy choice instead of a greasy, southern version, which I love, but don't always want to eat. I cooked for myself and didn't want to waste a can of tomatoes, so I cut up one tomato & took the mushy part out. And I added a bit of water to make up for the juices.

Do not make this unless you are on a diet.
If you are on a diet it's great. No matter how hungry you are you will have one bite and walk away.

Very easy main dish. I cut the recipe down in half as there is only 2 of us and there was plenty. My store did not have the pecorino cheese but the deli manager said that asiago would work just fine and that is what I used. I probably would just use a pinch of the red pepper flakes next time. Otherwise, I will make it again.

Fabulous, like most of Giada's recipes! As previously stated, don't skimp on the toppings - they make the dish. The only alteration I made was that I pureed the sauce in my food processor after it was done cooking to make it more appealing to my 3 year old, who loved the dish minus some of the pine nuts. Pureeing the sauce resulted in a dark green color which might not appeal to some but we have a green smoothie every morning so the color green is a fun thing in our house. Thanks for an easy last minute green dinner, Giada!!!

Fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised! Paired with her Goat Cheese, Lentil and Brown Rice Rolls. It was like spaghetti and meatballs! WOW!

Wonderful! I followed the recipe exactly except my local grocer doesn't carry Swiss Chard, so I used Kale instead, which means a longer cooking time for the Kale which was easy to accommodate. Also I added 1 more "topping" as an option for my family, ground Italian Sausage. As another Reviewer mentioned, don't skip any of the toppings, they all add their own unique and complimentary flavor. Served it with a fresh out of the oven crusty bread. I'll make this again!

Very delicious. I used a whole grain pasta, and am vegan, so skipped the cheese, and it was full of flavor. My husband ate it and loved it also, even with Swiss Chard in it! Now that is amazing.

This is my new favorite recipe!!! My husband is not a fan of eating pasta, but he absolutely LOVED this dish and I throughly enjoyed it as well. I made two modifications. I used kale instead of the chard and added shrimp. I will def. try with swiss chard next time. I'm even thinking of trying to substitute whole wheat pasta with roasted spaghetti squash. GREAT recipe! LOVED it!!!

Flavorful and easy! I used one 10 ounce package of frozen spinach instead of the swiss chard.
