I made the recipe with spinach because the Swiss Chard was not available at the time. It was my first experience with this recipe and my wife and I think it is just great and gets better each time I fix it.

I really liked the tomato/wine broth, and the whole wheat spaghetti was surprisingly tasty. But I was not a fan of the Pecorino cheese... waaaay too overpowering for this dish. I felt like it gave the whole dish a funny after-taste. Loved the pine nuts and olives!

Wow, this dish is delicious!!!! I was afraid it might be too bland, especially for my husband, but it was really tasty! I didn't use the olives but I see how they would only add more depth to this already extremely tasty dish. I used semolina pasta and red wine because I didn't want to go to the store, heh heh. Also used grapeseed oil for the same reason. Who would know this is so healthy unless you tell them! Great way to get your greens. The flavors are rich and terrific!

Wonderfully tasty meal! The recipe is simple, quick and healthy. I drizzled about a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar over the top of the pasta/swiss chard mix before topping with the pine nuts and olives. Love the flavor with the swiss chard. Thanks for a terrifc recipe! My family loved it!

This recipe wasn't very flavorful, perhaps because I substituted asiago cheese for pecorino. I'm not sure what pecorino cheese tastes like. If it is not extremely flavorful, I doubt I would like this recipe.

This is our third night in a row cooking one of Giada's recipes (must admit that I haven't done this with any other Food TV chef Wed. was "Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops", Thursday was "Roasted Chicken with Balsamic Vinaigrette" and this recipe was Friday's dinner. HURRAH! for Swiss Chard and whole wheat pasta (which is very meaty and filling and HURRAH! for Giada. P.S My husband bought me Giada's cookbook for my collection. It will get as actively used as my copy of Bonnie Stern's "Essentials of Home Cooking"
