I'm not that great of a cook (trying to work on improving but I found this recipe easy and it tasted great! I made it for family and friends and they loved it.

I used Red Chard, parmesan and it turned out really yummy. Also, the only wine I had was a bit too pricey to be cooking with so I substituted a splash of beer instead. It worked very well. My hubby, who doesn't even like tomatoes, cleaned his plate. I can't believe how healthy it is either. Whole wheat pasta rocks!

My family is quite unadventurous outside your basic pastas and americanesque food, but luckily they're always open to try my recipe experiments. When I made this dish for them tonight they couldn't stop raving! Swiss chard is a bitter green and it needs to be balanced properly, the kalamata olives and pine nuts really made the difference. I added a little extra chopped olives on top, and some extra pecorino on the side for my cheese addicted family.

I was expecting this to be fabulous, as other reviews raved about it. But, I found this dish to be just so-so. Maybe I'm just not a fan of swiss chard.

I just bought some organic red Swiss chard from Whole Foods and found this recipe. I used an orchietto (? from Italy instead of the whole wheat pasta and it was lovely--creamy and delicious. The olives and the pine nuts were wonderful and a nice surprise.

This is one of Giada's bet recipes ever. The swiss chard is perfectly balanced with just a tinge of bitterness. I made it with fresh whole wheat pasta. Served along side eof fresh pan seared king salmon, what a treat.

I have never cooked chard before and had everyone in my family not only eat it but LOVE it! I saved the leftovers and had it for lunch the next day...just as good as the night before!

This was my first attempt at cooking swiss chard. The recipe is easy and even my picky 6 year old loved it. The combination of pine nuts and cheese at the end counteract the slight bitterness of the chard. I used only one onion and one large bunch of chard from a farm stand and it fed four easily. My husband likes to eat meatless meals and this was a real hit. I shall add it to my family meals.

This dish was easy to prepare and was very tasty. The chard made it a little bitter and I felt that it needed something to make it perfect. My husband loved it and had two helpings.

I added some white beans for extra protein - good on the initial run, but not so great on the re-heat. Also used parmesan reggiano instead of pecorino which was a good substitute.
