This pasta was divine. The cheese and olives really took it to another level. I kept burning the pine nuts so I ended up having to use walnuts, and it was still very yummy. This was my first experience cooking with swiss chard, and it made the pasta filling and truly earthy tasting. I loved it and can't wait to make it again!

My hub's on a diet and he went nuts over this recipe. This dish with a salad and bread made for a hearty meal although it is meatless. The calamata olives added a really flavorful touch. If you found your chard bitter, you should grow your own in a pot- super easy to grow and you can pick em young. My plants are 3 yrs old now! This is in my top 5 Italian recipes now.

I'll admit I don't care much for chard so I used baby spinach instead. So easy, fresh and delicious. And far healthier than Rachael's "Shallota Flavor Spaghetti."

This dish is so wonderful. I DEFINITELY agree with reviewers below -- only 1 good-sized onion is all you need! (And trust me, I looove my onions Sliced 2, and ended up only using 1, but it still was plenty oniony (in a good way. I also used an extra garlic clove and ~1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes. Only had about half the swiss chard called for, so I used spinach for the rest, and it was a great combo. That pecorino cheese, kalamata olive, and toasted pine nut topping is just a beautiful thing.

I saw the episode where this was made and had to try it. I was unable to find the Swiss Chard, so I substituted spinach and some red leaf lettuce. I got probably half as much as was called for, but it still turned out great. I loved the olives - it added another taste layer.

Another healthy and wonderful weeknight meal! Flavorful and easy to do. I used parmesan cheese instead of pecorino because I had it on hand. I also bought the red swiss chard.

My husband and I reallly did lick our plates clean. This recipe is excellent and easy! I also tried it with a reisling white wine (a slightly sweet white wine and it cut the bitterness of the chard even better.

Loved this recipe, so easy to make! I made a few changes:used what I had on hand; regular spaghetti, fresh spinach and didn't use pine nuts. I knew that I didn't care for most greens such as Swiss chard but love spinach. My husband and I used, but, prefer this dish without the olives. I will make this dish again and again.
