this recipe was so simple to make and was really very good. i'm not all that much for vegetarian, but this meal was very satisfying. i used red wine instead of white because that's what i had open and it was fine. leftovers hold up well to reheating.

This will be a new favorite for me. I've never worked with greens before and it was really easy. I used Ruby Red Swiss Chard and it was excellent, not to mention gorgeous on the plate. The chard had a beautiful crunch similar to celery. With the onion and the texture of the wheat pasta, it was a beautiful mouthful that didn't make you miss a fattier, cream-based sauce.

This was great! I missed the show where this was prepared. I came across the recipe while doing a search. Lucky. I only had one bunch of chard, so I added two stalks of thinly sliced celery to the onions (to stretch the recipe. I also didn't want to open a bottle of white wine for only a quarter cup so I used some of the red wine in the frig. What really made this dish was the topping of olives, cheese, and pine nuts. Wow! I'm going to make this recipe again following it exactly. Bet it's even better...

Store didn't have Swiss chard so I got half red chard, half spinach. Bad idea! Family agreed--it was bitter and bland besides. Barely ate any. Maybe my expectations were too high or maybe it's my substitution or cooking skills. Just a warning!

The chard tasted too "earthy" for my liking. It tasted like I was eating dirt. If you leave that out, it would be better. Or maybe just use spinach.

As usual, Giada provides me with easy, healthy, tasty dinners for my family. Plus, I am using ingredients (swiss chard I have never used before!
