Best banana bread recipe ever! We substituted Agave Nectar for sugar, applesauce for oil and whole wheat pastry flour for all-purpose w.out compromising taste...

This recipe is fantastic! My daughters (ages 6, 8 and 10 made it with me and then happily devoured it. Delicious served with some fresh fruit.

Let me see...Moist, light and full of banana flavor, just the right amount of sweetness and the creme fraiche taking it over the top...There's nothing not to like about this banana bread recipe.

Delicious! I did replace applesauce for oil, cut the sugar by half & added chocolate chips. One of the best Banana Bread recipes I've ever tried!

FINALLY! A great banana bread I can get behind! This was moist and very flavorful! I added 2 teaspoons of rum flavoring in addition to the vanilla and it tasted like a Bananas Foster cake. Yummy!! HIGHLY recommend this and so easy to make!

I didn't have parchment paper so I sprayed loaf pan with Pam and then sprinkled flour to coat pan and it worked great, by the way.

This is a good banana bread for those that don't really like banana bread or anything too spicy. It is moist with only a hint of banana and very addictive. It was gone in one day.
