    I thought this was really good. It was the first key lime pie that I've ever made, and I'm happy with the outcome. I had to bake it longer than the instuctions told me to though.

    This is the *best* Key lime pie ever, hands down. Topped with the whipped cream, it boasts a perfect balance of tartness and sweetness. Key limes are best, but regular limes will make a fantastic pie too. When using Key limes, I cut them in half (or quarters if they're very big and squeeze them in a garlic press over a bowl, which makes very quick work of juicing them. Also, if you have a Microplane grater, now is the time to bust it out (or a good excuse to buy one! nothing else makes getting the zest and leaving the bitter pith easier.

    Easy to make and my husband and father-in-law love the pie. This is the only recipe I will go with for Key Lime Pie going forward.

    This is the third time I've made this. It comes out flawless every time. Big hit with everyone, I always get asked for the recipe. ....and its sooo easy. I do recommend a fine zester for the lime zest, otherwise the zest pieces are a little too big in the pie (or skip zest all together.

    Hadn't had Key Lime pie since I was a teen, and my mom bought them frozem from the grocery store. Seeing your recipe, you rekindled my interest in Key Lime pie and decided to try it made from scratch as opposed to store bought. Your recipe was the best Key Lime pie I've ever tasted. Problem now is not letting myself make it everyday. Would like to use parts of this recipe to make Key Lime Pie ice cream as soon as I can get an ice cream maker!!!

    I just made this today and have never even had Key lime Pie before. I really had fun making it and have to say that it was out of this world delish!!! It was also easy to make. I would definitely make my own crust again, loved the thickness...mmm. Next time I will try making my own whipped topping. The store bought just didn't have the creamy texture that the recipe one would. I am making one to bring to my sister next week. will def make it over and over again for sure.
