better off making brie en croute instead due to all the seeds not being soft

This recipe is so simple and quite delicious! I've make it twice both times using frozen mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries and blackberries that I purchased at Costco. I put a little bit of sauce in a small bowl and served it on the side. It's pretty rich so I use a whole wheat cracker to balance it out.

Delicious Easy recipe. Note: At Sur LaTable they have a stainless steel plank saver with handles ($9.95 that protects the grill plank from flames for a longer plank life. To serve, brought the brie right to the table on the plank that sits in the tray. Impressive Presentation! Raspberries were tasty and beautiful in this dish.

I also used blackberries instead of raspberries because that's what was on sale. I could only get half the sauce to balance on the brie. Maybe next time I'll take the brie off the plank and put it in a shallow dish so I can pour all of it on. However.... the sauce was soooo go over toast the next day and everyone ate up the brie anyway, maybe it was meant to be.

First time I have ever made any recipe with brie. Made it for a Christmas "appetizer" and before anyone else had a chance to get any of it I ate it all myself. Didn't buy the small cheese wheel, just bought a large slice. Mmmmm mmmmmm mmmmm! Can't wait for another excuse to make one.

Used it as an appetizer at a dinner party. Super easy to make, but defeintly fooled people into thinking I am a good cook! I've been asked to make it at get-togethers ever since!

My wife doesn't like rasberries, so we use blackberries instead. YUM! After I slice off the top rind, I push some cold butter into the cheese. Then we put nuts(pistachios and or pine nuts and push them into the top also.
