I loved the idea of how this uses smoked paprika for the mayo (I used light mayo, on a diet b/c it colors it orange like the potatoes. The orange juice complemented the potatoes well, as you cannot use sharp vinegars using this type of potato for sure.. However, my hubby said he still likes the classic white potato salad better and I have to admit, I love sweet potatoes just baked with butter on top, nothing tastes better to me than that; so alas, I will not be making this for us again but probably would try it out on guests if I had a summer buffet. I always like offering something new to guests to make their dining experience interesting and I think this would fit the bill.

I made this the for a cookout the day after the episode aired - it was a huge hit. Couple of notes, however. I found that the OJ flavor was a bit too strong, so I added a tad more cumin and smoked paprika. Also added some cayenne pepper to further tame the OJ and add a tiny bit of kick. A friend suggested adding bacon, which I did with the little bit leftover. Was fine, but didn't add all that much. One note - I made this a day in advance, and found that the flavors changed a good bit overnight - to its benefit. Would definitely make it again.

Oh this was good!!! Very easy to make and quite yummy.

I did, however, substitute a fresh Walla Walla onion straight from the garden for the Vidalia. ;-

    Will make this recipe again.

I thought that the Neelys came up with a great technique for putting cheese throughout the burger. I have seen several similar recipies, but they have always called from hiding a small cube of cheese in the center that never seems to melt as well. This worked much better. Thank you Sabrina for posting the recipe. I too, taped the show, but thinking that Foodnetwork.com would have posted it on the same day, I had deleted it prior to discovering it missing from the site. Does anyone by chance have the lemonaide recipe and is willing to post it?? I would appreciate it! Thanks!

Hi, I taped this show over the weekend, and I rewatched the show to write down the recipe for those that couldn't find it online.... I'm still not sure why it's not online, but here's both recipes :

    GRILLED BROCOLLI

2 heads of brocolli, cut lenthwise
Blanch brocolli in boiling water for a few minutes, shock in ice bath to stop cooking. Drain.

    Marinade:
2 tsp of Neelys dry rub
1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes
1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, smashed, but left whole
1/4 cup of white wine vinegar
    Salt and pepper

Put blanched brocolli into plastic bag, and pour marinate into bag and coat brocolli. Refrigerate. (they didn't say how long-maybe 30 minutes?. Take brocolli out of fridge, use tongues to drain excess liquid off, then put on grill and grill until you get grill marks. 5-7 minutes or so? (Remember it's already cooked, your just going for the grill marks. Enjoy!

    STUFFED GRILLED TURKEY BURGERS

    1/2 vadellia onion, diced
2 gloves of garlic, chopped fine
    2 tsp of dijon mustard
    1 tsp of soy sauce
1 1/2 pound of ground turkey
Sliced Cheese (mozz, gouda, your favorite, etc

In bowl, use whisk to mix mustard and soy sauce, then add diced onion and garlic, and ground turkey. Mix well. These are stuffed burgers, therefore in order to make 4 burgers, you need to form 8 turkey patties. Take 1 pattie, shape it, and lay slice of cheese in middle, now add another turkey pattie on top, and seal edges to keep cheese inside. Lay on platter. Using thumb, gently press the middle of each pattie to keep it from forming a bubble on top while cooking. Cook on hot grill, 5 minutes on each side till done. Enjoy!

I was so luck to have taped the show. I tried the burgers on Saturday. I was looking for a good turkey burger and this is the one. These are the best !! I did not do so well on the Lemonaid. I am going to it again.

I just do not understand what it was not posted on Saturday. I told some on my firiends about the recipe and they are going to try it.

I am big fan of the Neelys.

I am also wondering what happened to the rest of the recipes? I was looking forward to the Grilled Turkey burger recipe for dinner. I think I remember all ingredients, but the recipe will help out so much.
