Directions

In a saucepan combine shallots, wine, vinegar and ginger and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until liquid is reduced to a syrup. Swirl chilled butter into syrup one piece at a time. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.;
