Just made these for the first time. If you follow the recipe exactly, they are PERFECT. We love them, and will be making them again and again and again....

This was an easy, delicious recipe, but I did use fresh grated ginger rather than dried ground ginger - ALOT of it about 3 Tbls.

My mother has made these cookies since I was a little girl and I have been making them since I first got married and I just turned 60. They have been a hit with bake sales, gifts for friends and just a good ol' cookie at Christmas time over all these years. I couldn't believe that this recipe was on this site. Best ginger snap I have ever had.

Good flavor not too sweet, easy. More chewy if you keep baking time at 9 minutes. Went heavy on the powdered ginger. Added 1/2 tsp of cardamon & extra bit of molasses & sugar.

Good cookie. I feel they need more ginger!

I followed this recipe almost to the T. They came out good but not great. I added crystalized ginger at the end and it added a nice texture to it. I think that there should be more sugar in them since they don't have that sweet spicy taste, just more of a spicy taste.

If you use dark brown sugar (like I did your cookies will be very dark and not all that appealing.

Also, make sure you take them out at 10 minutes. I took them out at 11 minutes and I think that the one minute extra dried them out just a tad.

This is an easy and FABDELIOUS on the taste. I used the recipe with the exact ingredients, did not change one thing and they came out PERFECT! My husband loved them, and I had people asking me if they could have some at church. This one is a winner! ! !

The recipe is very easy to make and tastes amazing!!! I cooked them 3 minutes longer just to make them a little more crispy!
