Great recipe!! I am not known for my baking skills but these cookies were easy to make, turned out delicious and looked gorgeous. I am so pleased with the results. Everyone thought they were excellent. This recipe is a keeper for sure.

Guy I tried different gingerbread cookie receipes. They all were terrible. I was about to give up when I saw your program you were baking the gingersnap snackers. Looked easy so I tried. O my goodness, they were wonderful just enough spices. My daughers also agreed. This receipe is a keeper. Now I can invite my grand daughters over to bake gingerbread cookies. That's what I baked the texture was wonderful very easy to roll and cut out using cookie cutters. Thanks for posting this receipe

Great cookie. Big time flavor as you would expect from Guy. Definatly needs ice cream to cut the spice, but a side of milk or toasted marshmellow for a smaller cookie works well too.

Oh my goodness these are addictive. I have made the sandwiches, which were a hit at our dinner party, but had to cut them in half cause they are huge. I now make the cookies on their own with 1 tbsp balls instead of 2, and cook them for 10 minutes for soft & chewy gingersnaps (which sounds counter-intuitive, but tasty nonetheless! Holiday favorite!

Found gingersnap ice cream, which turned these ice cream sandwiches from special to extra special. Could not easily find crystallized ginger so did not use this time. Making big cookies like Guy, the recipe made 16 cookies or 8 ice cream sandwiches. Great tip using pints!

I have beensearching for a cookies like this for awhile. The ginger snap is crisp on the outside and kind of chewy towards the center. All I can say is yum, yum and more Yum!

Watched this episode on Sunday morning and found that I had everything on hand except the crystallized ginger, but I went with it anyway! Very good results! I rolled smaller balls as I was really looking for a good ginger cookie for my holiday cookie trays. I'll definitely make these again for the ice-cream sandwiches though!! For a more festive look and texture, I rolled the dough balls in turbinado sugar prior to baking. I have added crystallized ginger to my shopping list because I can't wait to try these again!! If you enjoy ginger snaps, you will LOVE this recipe!!
