This is just fabulous! I'm not an olive fan, but my husband is, so we used them. I couldn't' taste them at all. The flavors in this are incredible. Use a really full bodied wine for the best tastes! YUM!

Not the greatest recipe ever. Certainly edible but I would make it again.

I made this for the first time about a month ago. This will be my second time cooking it tonight.

I did not add carrots, olives or the orange peels because I did not have them on hand. Even without the ingredients this recipe is absolutely wonderful.

I actually let it simmer for a few hours and it really blended the flavors even more. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

This was a very flavorful dish that pleased everyone in a very picky family. I left out the olives in part of the dish for my children. They tried it with and without and liked both! Will definitely make again.

I made this recipe minus the celery and olives and it was really good. Very heavy... definitely a cold-weather dish. My husband and I will definitely make it again!

The sauce for this recipe is outstanding unfortunately the gnocchi I purchased was horrible! So I had to use penne since it was all I had on hand. I will make again, and try to find a better store bought gnocchi.

We made this for a family party and everyone loved it. Easy to prepare and the sauce would also be great on fusilli or some other "curly" pasta. :

I made this dish tonight and Wowed hubby. I used about 1/3 bottle of wine instead of 2 T and am thinking it would make an excellent soup (with a little more chicken stock and another can of tomatoes. I doubled the recipe and used an entire pound of bacon ... followed most everything else though and it was awesome. Hubby hates olives so we discussed that before I made it and he said try it as is ... he ate until I thought he'd bust and never thought about the Kalamata olives once!

This will be made on a regular basis. Good one!
