This recipe was absolutely wonderful...even if you 'barely' like broccoli! We actually love broccoli in any form but were looking for something new. This absolutely fit the bill! We omitted the salt since we're trying to be as healthy as possible and with the Parmesan cheese, there was more than enough 'saltiness'. We've made it twice in just one week because it pairs so well with so many main dishes. I would recommend this to absolutely any family who is trying to get kids to eat it as my nieces and nephews absolutely ADORED this form and will definitely tell you that they HATE broccoli! Way to go Alton!

Thank you!!! My 6 year old daughter said "now that's what I am talking about"! We tried roasted broccoli at a neighbors and loved it. On the third attempt I used this recipe, and will again and again!

So many times I read reviews and have a high expectation of a dish, then am not overly impressed. This was one of them. I roast vegetables all the time, but was thinking the panko and cheese would make it fabulous. It was good, but not a WOW factor for me.

Wonderful! Even my 6-year old liked it. I omitted the panko and it was still fine.

very easy, very tasty recipe that we have had twice in the last week. I don't even like broccoli very much, but with these seasonings and roasting, I eat all the broccoli on my plate. One thing to note - I try to cook without grains because my husband follows a primal diet, so I omitted the bread crumbs, and it was still delicious (and lower calorie and healthier.

I hate broccoli and I made this and I went out yesterday and bought more broccoli so I could make it again and then I am going to try it with cauliflower. I used Parmesan and not the cheddar, It war great, I did not use the stems, just the head. . It was wonderful. Easy quick and fresh.

Great flavor and the broccoli remained al dente, which I like. Too much salt though! Next time I'd add 1/4 tsp. of salt instead.

Different and good. My broccoli wasn't tender though, I think it needed more time to roast. I tried this same receipe with cauliflower and it was also very good.

Im trying to learn to like broccoli by slowly adding it as a side to my meals. It worked with asparagus and has worked this this!!! I saw Alton talk about this dish being a good starter for people that don't like the normal steamed broccoli and he was right! This was fantastic. I did add a bit more olive oil because the tops of the broccoli seemed to soak up it up pretty quick. Other than that it was amazing!! I will be making this a lot. I forgot to add the cheese and still was great. (less calories
