Great flavor and the broccoli remained al dente, which I like. Too much salt though! Next time I'd add 1/4 tsp. of salt instead.

Different and good. My broccoli wasn't tender though, I think it needed more time to roast. I tried this same receipe with cauliflower and it was also very good.

Im trying to learn to like broccoli by slowly adding it as a side to my meals. It worked with asparagus and has worked this this!!! I saw Alton talk about this dish being a good starter for people that don't like the normal steamed broccoli and he was right! This was fantastic. I did add a bit more olive oil because the tops of the broccoli seemed to soak up it up pretty quick. Other than that it was amazing!! I will be making this a lot. I forgot to add the cheese and still was great. (less calories

Nice change of pace from steaming. It has an unexpected sweetness this way. Kids liked it too.

I'm not sure how anyone in their right mind could give this recipe fewer than 4 stars. It's a winner - easy and delicious (I couldn't stop eating broccoli of all things!. I used Panko Italian seasoned breadcrumbs because that's all I had - I would highly recommend it.

What a fantastic recipe! Panko breadcrumbs make a huge difference, so make sure to use those and not breadcrumbs. Addictive!

very good, will make this again! I did add some red pepper flakes to zip it up a bit. I've been looking for something new to do with broccoli and this was the perfect answer. Thanks Alton

My son said it was the best broccoli he has ever had. This is a staple for my everyday cooking now.

I didn't have Panko bread crumbs so I toasted a few slices of sourdough bread. I liked it, but to me it needs a little "oooomph". Maybe soy sauce or something. But I would make it again for sure.
