I've made this recipe every Thanksgiving since first coming upon it in 2005. It is now something that HAS to be part of our meal, and we now refer to it as "Mike's Favorite Corn Pudding". Be sure to use fresh herbs!! It makes all the difference!!

I wasn't expecting much from this. I made it as an extra side since I already had stove top stuffing/dressing. I was just curious about this since it was part of Alton's turkey recipe (which was perfect!.

Crazy reaction by everyone. This was such a super hit!!!! Totally wasn't expecting it since it was so easy to make. It was gone so quick. Next time, I'll make double.

Thanks again Alton!!! You da man...

I took a chance on making this instead of the traditional stufflng... I thought my dad was going to have a stroke, but he ended up loving it! We had a great thanksgiving meal, which included Alton's brined turkey! It was a hit!

I used this recipe instead of one for corn bread dressing for Thanksgiving and found it to be far more moist and very delicious. The corn bread dressing that was brought to our Thanksgiving Day celebration was dry conpared to this recipe. For Christmas I am going to use this recipe again but add some sage for variation.

I love Alton's other recipe's and was looking forward to making this for Thanksgiving. I followed the recipe exactly but it tasted so bland. Not really sweet, but not all that savory either. Tasted more like a "washed out" cornbread. No one liked it because it relatively tasteless. If I ever made it again I would try making sweetening it a lot more.

Took a chance and fixed this as an alternative to dressing for Thanksgiving Dinner. This was great, and everyone loved it. Thanks Alton.

This recipe was a hit at our Thanksgiving potluck - I doubled the recipe, and both dishes were scraped clean. I've already had multiple requests for the recipe.

I used half of a vidallia onion in the double batch, and loaded on the black pepper, and everyone thought it tasted great! I can't fathom some of the comments that this was bland and tasteless. I also just baked it in pyrex because I don't have an oven-safe skillet.

This is a definite keeper! Thanks Alton!
