I was a Super Hit at our last Thanks Giving Dinner...one of our family member brought another corn pudding type of dish...but everyone ate mine than hers...And I am making it again this yr. Thanks for the tasty recipe Alton...love your Iron Chef broad cast...

I substituted homemade corn bread for the French bread and served this in lieu of stuffing one Thanksgiving. It was a huge hit. I'm sure it's delectable made with white bread as well and plan to try it in it's original way. You da man, Alton!

with the cornbread you made from this recipe then the mistake is in your technique or your ingredients and not AB's recipe because this is one of the finest Thanksgiving sidedishes I have encountered.

I made this cornbread for Thanksgiving and it was sooooo good that we made two more batches the next day AND brought yet another to my ailing Mother-in-Law in the hospital. She was recovering from knee surgery and I FULLY (ok, well not fully but still attribute her speedy recovery to how much she loved this dish.

As a cornbread maker and consumer for 20 years this is easily my number 2 favorite cornbread dish of all time.

Tried this recipe on a lark for Thanksgiving. Everyone loved it. It was very easy to make, but I don't think I'd try it blindfolded as Alton does on the TV show.

I love Alton Brown and Good Eats, but not all of the recipes that I have tried turn out good for me. I don't even like cornbread or creamed corn, but this looked so good I had to try it. It is absolutely delicious. My husband doesn't even like things like this, and he liked it, too.

I love this recipe for so many reasons. First you can make it ahead and heat thru for Thanksgiving dinner. Two it tastes great. Three the leftovers are even better.

I'll stick with Pepperidge Farm herbed stuffing as my side item. This one was a real disappointment: the flavors did not come together well.
