I loved this stuff. It was the dish I received the most compliments on at Thanksgiving. Easy to make and the leftover sauce was great when I basted it on pork.

This was just the perfect condoment for our roast turkey. We couldn't find frozen cranberries, so we got 1 bag of fresh, and followed part of the recipe on the bag. I think it was to boil the berries in 1 cup of water (maybe 2. Anyway, it worked out fine. It was a little too tart for me, so I added about 1 tablespoon of sugar, but my wife thought that without the sugar it would have been just right. As they say, "adjust to taste"!! Great recipe, we will use this with the turkey EVERY time!!

This year my family had quite a crowd over for Thanksgiving dinner, and I can say with confidence that the Cranberry Dipping Sauce was a major hit. The combination of the salty turkey meat along with the sweet and tart cranberry sauce is what really made my thanksgiving complete.
Some thoughts and recommendations...
I'm not sure if it was my stovetop (I have electric but the sauce took over an hour and a half to reduce. In the first batch that I made, I forgot to add the orange zest, but when compared to the second batch (with the orange zest I think I preferred the first better. The citrus was a bit overpowering.
I freezed the remaning sauce that wasn't served. The sauce would make an excellent addition to many holiday meals. Thanks AB!

Had a problem with skins clogging my blender, but I think the sauce was better without chopped skins in it anyway. Everyone loved it.

I had this and gravy for Thanksgiving. My husband and I tried it and we felt that gravy wasn't needed. This sauce also won over some non-cranberry fans!

I only made 1/2 the recipe because I wasn't sure I'd like it. As soon as I tasted it I wished I made the whole recipe. This is so perfect to spread on bread for a turkey sandwich or dip pretzels in if you run out of turkey. Definitely a recipe to make every year. And so easy too!

This recipe was just ok. I was very disappointed with the outcome. It is very easy to make...I like that..but the taste is like I said...just ok. Sorry AB, don't be mad at me.

I have loved every recipe I have tried from good eats, but this by far has to be one of the most unique and tastey. It went perfect with your turkey! I did have a little mishap with my blender, but i am going to pick up a stick blender next year.

I followed the recipe to the letter and was very disappointed. It was easy to make & looked good, but I thought that the orange was just too overpowering and I like citrus. Sorry Alton, but I won;t be making this again.

I followed this recipe to the letter and it was aweful. Also, the recipe didn't say anything about letter it cool before putting it in the blender. I made the mistake of blending while it was hot and it expanded and then sprayed all over my kitchen, AND burned both my hands. It's also too soupy...I like a chutney-type cranberry sauce.
