I thought I knew how to bake a potato. Foil + heat + eat. WRONG! I can't believe it took me 24 years to learn the proper way to bake a potato.
Following this recipe I had the best potato I've ever tasted in my entire life. Better than any restaurant I've been to. I'll make these for dinner on a regular basis now. With a little fancy butter (w/ sundried tomatoes, garlic, and parmesian mixed in this is truly Heaven.

I didn't think that there could be any improvement on a plain old baked potato, but I was wrong.
Smooth, tender, and tasty!

When people see me put a potato in the oven without tin foil they think I am nuts, untill they try it. What a great simple way to cook. The potato comes out creamy and hot. Thanks for the recipe.
