THESE ARE THE BEST BAKED POTATOES I'VE EVER HAD AT HOME...DEFINITELY WORTH THE EFFORT DOING THEM THIS WAY INSTEAD OF "NUKING" THEM!!

I used olive oil instead of canola, and in addition to the salt and pepper i used some garlic powder, it made the skin absolutely delicious! My 2 year old gobbled a whole potato up in a blink of an eye, and he is one picky eater!

Just a simple thing, oil and salt, but it makes a regular baked potato incredible! The skin is the best part!

I always have cooked my baked potatoes in the microwave because I'm always in a hurry. Well, the microwave is broken (the horror! and I needed another option, so I found this recipe. I was impressed that I could find a recipe that would cook a potato in only an hour, and the potato is cooked PERFECTLY! The texture is less mushy than a microwave baked potato and the skin is nice and crispy. I don't think I'll ever go back to the microwave again!

I tried...but it wasn't done. I was in a time crunch and could only cook it for an hour and it wasn't close to being ready! I will not try this recipe again.

A quick an easy way to turn this recipe into a meal is to add the fllowing manwich, cheddar cheese & sour cream to the potato. Follow the can direction & when potato is done add as much or as little as you wont to potato & ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!
