Newly added to dinner rotation!!! I did some subs- olive oil instead of veg. oil, 1/2 juiced lemon instead of dry wine, added 3Tbsp butter, 1 shallot and 1/2 red onion, 2 garlic cloves, oh I used frozen french style green beans and garnish with scallions.. even my picky eaters loved it!! lol Its quick and lite.. as with me make it your own!! enjoy!! :

Looked nice and was easy. Did not like the overwhelming onion and chicken broth taste, I thought it took over the dish.

This recipe is very good. I didn't read the other reviews before making it, and I agree that my husband and I would both probably prefer using asparagus instead of the green beans, although the green beans were good. I was very pleasantly surprised that the sauce thickened really nicely.

you can improvise without messing up the recipe. I didn't have any vegetables, so I stuck with the basics and it's still a great recipe :

Very quick and delicious! It's very flexible with whatever vegetables you prefer or have on hand, so it's easy to change in a pinch. This is now a family favorite!

My absolute best ever recipe for company. It never fails to impress. The green beans in this recipe are very good but it's even better with asperagus!!!
