I tried this recipe with my family and we all loved it, even my brother who usually does not like steak. To accompany this dish we had spinich and boiled red potatoes. My family cannot wait for me to make it again.

A great alternative to bottled steak sauce. I did finish it with a bit of butter, though.
Big hit with my kids.

The recipe calls for too much rosemary leaves. Too much makes the whole dish medicinal tasting. Yuck.

I liked this recipe but thought the rosemary was a bit too overpowering. I will make it again, next time with less rosemary.

Made it last night for me and my husband. He definitely wants to have it again. I also enjoyed it. And not a hard recipe at all.

This was one amazing recipe that I will be using for years! I marinated the steaks overnight in red wine and they were very tender. The red wine sauce was so savory and the suggested boiling time for the wine was just long enough to leave an awesome flavor, but get rid of the alcohol taste.
My only advice is this: in the last minuted of boiling the sauce, add a little cornstarch (1/2 to 1 tsp. in order to thicken up the sauce. Once I did that, it was just the way I liked it! Definitely try this recipe!

Easy and delicious even when I used a less than acceptable wine.
