I actually got this recipe out of Paul's cookbook. Followed the directions and it was soupy and took forever to cook. I had more liquid that I knew what to do with. My recipe said to poor the pear juice over the pears. Way to much liquid. Anyone have an idea as to what happened?

My family loves cobbler and this was a quick and easy solution with ingredients you always have on hand. I used 2- 15 oz cans of pears and one was already flavored with cinnamon. I will use this with other fruits and will add cinnamon because it gave it more flavor.
