This was actually probably the worst Food Network recipe I have tried. I would not make it again, the texture is weird and the flavor is off. Go to Plan B.

California Opinion...this chutney or relish is delicious! Made a second batch but without currants. Everyone enjoyed the texture of this version more than as written in the recipe. Try this one. Good! Annie, Fremont, CA

If you Google Gary Zemola you find he owns the Super Duper Weenie Restaurant in Fairfield, Ct.

I don't think Guy mentioned where Gary's hot dog diner is located. They showed the segments from Diners and Driveins twice and I'd love to know where it is. I saw that show and I remember that segment with Gary.

Also, I thought it was great that he said that he learned to cook his dogs flat on the grill from Jimmie's of Savin Rock which is in West Haven, CT, not New Haven.

Dan, is right about the location of Jimmies of Savin Rock. Where is Gary's restaurant located. I didn't catch the beginning of the show?

The comment was made that he learned to split hot dogs at Jimmy's Restaurant in New Haven, but it is actually located in West Haven.
