Made this dish along with the Neely's coconut shrimp on Friday night.
Absolutely delicious! Loved the flavors of the jalapeno barbecue sauce with the smoky/sweet taste of the bacon and shrimp.

I have made this sauce many times and it always gets rave reviews from friends and family. I follow the recipe for the sauce exactly and usually double it for other dishes too. It works on simple grilled dogs and burgers and even pork chops! It seems to last in a sealed container for at least 10 days but I rarely have any left for long anyway!! I'll never buy bbq sauce again! Thanks Sunny!!

These were GREAT. The best bbq sauce I ever had. My picky 14 yr old LOVED it. Going to try this recipe with scallops next time. It was so easy and quick to make, I made it while we were camping, sure is a KEEPER, the only thing I did was not add the cayenne pepper or the jalapeno, because I dont like spicy things, IT WAS STILL GREAT !!! THANK YOU SUNNY

The most amazing thing I've ever bbq-ed! My entire family loves it. I make double batches of the sauce, so that we have some for dipping and adding to my kids chicken. We all need our own bowl too. So easy and your guests will be amazed. I have used this recipe for over 2 years, just had a catastrophe with all of my cook books getting ruined and had to get on the site a.s.a.p. to make sure it was still there... what if I get dementia some day... gotta have it on hard copy!

I would give this BBQ sauce a 10 if it were allowed. It was also awesome on Baby Back Ribs and grilled hot dogs. I'll never buy bottled sauce again. I'm curious if the sauce can be made in a larger batch and keep well for a few months?

I made this for a birthday party for my wife. I followed the recipe exactly except I held the bacon on with a tooth pick. I used U-10 shrimp. There was room for two on each bamboo skewer. But the best part of the recipe was the BBQ sauce. I plan on making it and using it as my main BBQ sauce from now on.

Before we even got to the point where we skewered the shrimp, we were in love with the sauce. When we were doing up the shrimp, we only had the smaller 24-30 count shrimp, and we very lightly precooked the bacon before wrapping up the shrimp to ensure that they cooked through. And since it's way below freezing in AB this time of year, we threw them in a 425F oven til they were finished. The sauce was really fantastic with the smoky bacon/shrimp combination, and I'm gonna try an adapted version with pulled pork sandwiches. Soooo good!

i made this the other night and it was great. i know some people say it was to spicy but it really isn't you could even kick it up a little. the one thing i must say is that it might be better to make them on an indoor grill pan or just in a reguler pan i made them on the outdoor grill with a few other things and the bacon burned. the bbq sause was very good i even put on on the ribs we made
