Tried this for dinner tonight. Was a little skeptical about the onion and apple combo, but it was super yummy and the whole family loved it! I had to eat mine with a knife and fork because I wasn't sure how many apples it took and we have a big family, so we had lots of "topping" but it was really good and very filling. I had a salad on the table too, but no one needed more than the sandwich to get full. Hungry Girl rocks!

Hard to believe this is as low in calories because it taste so good--a great flavor combination! I think I might not cook the apples next time because the crunch would be an added texture bonus. As always, way to go Lisa!

It was great! So flavorful,so easy and so different from the rest of my DIET recipes. My husband loved it and I will make it again. I did chop up my chicken when it was cookied to make it easier to eat and then put it on the bread. It was so tasty that I felt that it must have way more calories! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You, for giving me a recipe that I will use over and over again.

This was really good. I did take some shortcuts though. I had turkey lunch meat in the frig so I used that. I also cooked the onions and apples in a bowl in the microwave for 1 minute. Then proceeded with the rest of the recipe as is. Great flavor - did not feel "diet" and really helped with my craving for something "non-diet food"

Made for dinner. It was delicious, tho the bread got a little messy. Made my husbands with rye bread (he's not watching calories & it held up much better.

I made this for lunch right after the show and it was fabulous! What a quick and easy meal to make and absolutely delicious. Trying the portobello mushroom sandwich next.
