    Quick, easy and according to this vegetarian's boyfriend: TASTY!
    My Romaine was a bit limpy, so i think I need to use less Olive Oil on the leaves - other than that it was great!

    A fabulously quick and tasty way to serve romaine. Even skeptics have enjoyed it thoroughly. Make sure you char it a wee bit - it really adds to the aroma and flavour.

    This was printed a year ago in a Dallas paper and I've been making it since. Even made it in South Africa in November at a braii and it was a big hit. Making it tonight again. Great recipe for low carbers!

    Just tried this tonight - only put "really good" balsamic vinegar on after grilling (don't need the bacon - loved it - never grilled romaine before - surprised at the smokey flavor. Will do again.

    Wonderful, impressive for guests, and so easy. Just a few ingredients and you're done! My kind of recipe. This will become a regular item for this summer grilling!

    OMG!!!! SOOOO Good!!!! I made this Christmas Eve. It was delicious! Everyone in the family loved it.
    I mixed fresh cracked black pepper with Extra Virgin Olive oil in a cup and then brushed it on the romaine before grilling. Added a nice little bite to it.
    Very good and I would suggest everyone make it atleast once!!!!
