We really liked this. I think we over marinated the steak, because the steak ended up tasting pretty intense, but it was still good. We only used the jalapeno pepper, ?cuz serrano is too hot for our taste buds. We also didn?t bother with radishes, and instead of having sliced tomatoes we made a fresh pico de gallo, which tasted awesome. The avocado was great with it as well. The cheese for us was a waste. It may have been the brand we bought, but the queso fresco was pretty flavorless. We're not real familiar with Mexican cheeses, but next time we'll try a different one, like cotija, or perhaps even a jack cheese.

I love Guy and all his recipes, but this one was not good. It was just way too tart for me and my family. I followed the recipe exactly except I substituted parsley for the cilantro as cilantro is not a favorite of mine. You either love it or hate it. I hate it. The marinate was very, very tart. I followed the directions and biled it, tasted it and threw it away. The steak was okay, but I won't be making this again. Sorry, Guy!

My friend and I are avid fans of FN, and came across Guys' episode about this grilled flank steak recipe with some of my favorites,..tequila, garlic, lime, soy, jalepenos. I just had to try it. Going shopping for the ingredients, preparing, and finally the end-product was worth the effort. I will definately promote this recipe with my friends and family and have over and over again.

I didn't love the smell of the marinade as i do not care for tequila but LOVED the flavor of the steak in the end. It was so tender and juicy with such a great flavor! It got rave reviews, i will be making this again.
