Rather than using the four canned beans, I used fresh string beans from my garden. I blanched them first. In the "marinade," I substituted jalepeno peppers for the bell peppers. I good side dish for the Baltimore Bad Boy Beef.

This is a wonderful high protien recipe for me, who needs low sodium and I don't eat red meat. I am looking forward to many more that I can put together fast and get rave reviews. I am a retired "self taught chef/cook I miss being in our cafe & bakery where I could create to my hearts content.

Excellent salad. I highly recommend using the peppadew peppers, as they are what make this dish!! If you like this one, try Guy's bean salad with pineapple chunks-fantastic.

Awesome in the tailgate lot as well as picnics - not just an at home dish.

    Easy, colorful and tasty.

The relish was wonderful though I could not find the peppadews. I roasted some red jalapanos, deseeded and deveined them and used them instead. The dish was a hit!! Beautiful and tasted great. I put the leftovers in the food processor with a little olive oil to smooth it out and with a few minutes in the microwave it made a killer bean dip to go with the chips I made. Keep the wonderful recipes comming. I haven't tried one yet that was not as good as you make them look on your show.

I did this receipe for a family get together. Everyone was impressed and it was great for the non meat eaters. I was happy how easy it was to put together. You could use this as a main meal or a side dish.

This is amazing. I found the pepperdews at BJ's club, in the deli section. Buy extra, they are so tasty on there own

While I'm not generally a bean salad kind of person, when I saw this recipe on the show I was interested in trying it. I loved the balsamic dressing which gave it a sweet, but not sugary, kick. I used sweet red pepper because I had them in the house instead of the fancy hot red peppers shown on the program and it tasted great without them. My whole family- even my vegetarian sister, raved. The salad then took several forms once a left over too. I used this salad over mixed greens and grilled veggies for a great lunch with friends and I also put it through the Cusinart with some chopped garlic and turned it into a great bean dip with tortilla chips.
