Our family now expects us to make these when they come to our house. The flavors are complex and yes, quite spicy. Try them on the grill instead of the oven - Yummy!

One small tweak in oven- I finish under the broiler 3 or 4 min a side brushing on the sauce (I have none left when done. It gives a little better crisp to the wings.
The fridge time and the extra spices takes this recipe to the top. I used the basic buffalo recipe for years cooking as above. I barely use a teaspoon of Cayenne (like heat but want to taste my Shipyard PumpkinHead. I use a lot of garlic cloves. Now our favorite wing recipe.

Holy Moly these are HOT! I love heat, but these are crazy burning hot! Also, WAY too much Cumin. Cut back on it unless you're a Cumin fan. I probably won't make these again, but thanks Guy! :(

Eh, not sure what went wrong, maybe my jalapeno was broken, but this just wasn't spicy enough for me. The garlic adds some sweetness that was hard to get used to. I deep fried mine and then put in the oven for more crisp, which turned out really well.

PERFECT! My husband cooks Pakastani food a lot and likes spicy, and myself on the other hand...well I am learning this spicy stuff...=] This was spicy enough for him, and at the same time I could handle eating them...(usually he thinks are just too bland, but not this
use your gut when you cook them...and when it comes to spicy, don't go off the reviews because everyone has different tolerance...like in my household... Fix it up how you think you would like it... if you tolerate eating habeneros well yeah...maybe you will want to put some more heat in it...

Just the right amount of heat if you like spicy. I loved them even in the oven when cooked in the overn. For the light-,I'd recommend toning it down a little, by adding a little ketchup or bbq sauce and little less pepper(s.

I regret reading reviews before making this. I tripled the spices in the dry rub, and really wanted to add some of my homemade habenero sauce to the sauce. But the silly people thought it is too hot and I refrained. Not nearly hot enough, definitley missing something-like habereo sauce. A graduate of the Culinary Inst of NY told me when making sauces to always cook down vinegar before adding, reduces the acidy taste.

Really good! These wings were right on! My husband loves spicy; and although I am not as tolerant to heat as him, they were perfect for both of us! He free styled the sauce, same ingredients, different measurments, and the sauce definitely compliments the wings. Perfect for watching the game today!
