Not a bad drink. It does pack a little hidden punch. I think a little more apple liquor is the way to go. A pinch of cinnamon is good too.

I was thinking of making this as a featured cocktail on Thanksgiving but wanted to try it out first, so I had the bartender at work make one for me. He too, called it a Washington Apple. Whatever you call it, it is delicious! All 4 people who tasted it, loved it.

it's actually called a "washington apple" and is made with apple pucker and the whiskey is crown royal. a nice variation is to replace the crown royal with captain morgan spiced rum and then it's called a "spiced apple"......... very good as long as you get the mix right.....

My guests and I like this drink. It's also good as a martini. We had it with a dinner that was all comfort food and it really worked. (Chicken and dumplings. It appealed to both camps, those who like sweet, and those who like dry, as it was not too much of either.

We found that some people preferred a little more apple than whiskey, so we adjusted for some!
