This was a big hit at the super bowl party I attended with these. One tip I would give, is to either microwave the bacon for about 2 minutes or so or if you use the pan, then wrap the shrimp right away after you pull the bacon from the fry pan.

Made this dish for a large dinner party last night (an appetizer and dessert party. I doubled the shrimp and sauce, but I needn't have bothered to double the sauce - we ended up throwing alot out. Everyone loved this. Wrapping all those shrimp was a little time consuming, and cooking the bacon only until it is slightly browned and still very flimsy is a must. I overcooked some of the bacon, and then when I tried to wrap it, it broke. The sauce is great, but a bit hot. The children at the party didn't care for it much, said it was too hot, but all the grown-ups loved it. I didn't use the red pepper flakes, because I didn't have them, so I doubled the cayenne, which means it probably wasn't as hot as it could have been, but overall, we were very pleased with it. This is a recipe I will keep and make often.

The BBQ sauce is wonderful. Make sure to make enough to keep for wings and other foods. This recipe was simple and everyone loved it

What can I say...we first did these shrimp over the Christmas holidays and they were awesome. Our visitors loved them so much they took the recipe home with them. Great flavor and easy to make, even for a beginner 'home chef'. Try them, you will not be disappointed. They will be a regular visitor to our grill in the future!

I doubt that any of Guy's recipes would disappoint me, but this is DA BOMB! We used thick Maple flabored bacon, matched with those yummy chipotles. If you like your food a little spicy, you're going to love this!
