Two tips to make this easier and (to me better. First scramble eggs separately, chop and add at the end. That's the way Chinese restaurants do it. Second, you should use sticky rice which isn't always easy to find. You also need to cook it the day before. So instead, swing by your favorite Chinese restaurant and buy some white rice. My place changes $1.50 for a quart.

I've made this recipe several time (with shrimp or chicken and I use the same ingredients. The trick for making this rice is to cook the rice the day before and refrigerate it over night for a firm rice.

Great idea for marinade, improvised with edamame, broccoli, and tofu instead of pork.

I love it and have prepared it many times. Typically though, I will marinate overnight. Not sure that makes a difference, but it is wonderful!!

I really like the glaze on the pork, and it all makes great leftovers for work. I put mushrooms, tofu and edamame, with green onions and red peppers. I did cook the eggs separate and added them at the end. Will definitely make again!

So good and fresh! I have made this a couple of times and always do at least 1 1/2 lbs. of pork and 1 1/2 cups (uncooked rice and leave the veggies as written. I use 2 eggs and make a well in the veggies before adding the cooked rice and scramble quickly and it is not mushy this way. There are so many different things you can do with this recipe to make it your own. Will definitely continue making this dish. Happy cooking to all! :

This was delicious and I will definitely make it again. However next time, I'll cook the egg separately, chop it and add it to the mixture. I felt like pouring the beaten egg made the texture too mushy.

I ate this meal for the next 3 days because it was so amazing! I also opted for brown rice and it was wonderful.
