i found these to be lacking in flavor which was odd bc of all the ingredients. the dipping sauce was good but not great

Very good, changed it up a bit, added cayenne to the dipping sauce, which was really delicious but I wanted some heat. Then after dipping rings in beer batter, I tossed them into Panko crumbs for EXTRA crispiness. Yummy!

My first time making onion rings and I'm so happy I picked this recipe! The batter was perfectly light and crispy and the dip...wow the dip!!! Amazing, you could dip an old shoe in this dip and it would taste great! I didn't have to change a thing this recipe is PERFECT! and you can put the leftover dip on ANYTHING, nothing was wasted!

Awesome! Kept them warm in a 200 degree oven for over an hour and they were warm and crispy!

This is fantastic! Not only are the onion rings great the dip is awesome! The rings never made it to the table - we ate them as they were cooked! The dip goes great with veggies and we've also used it in place of mayo on burgers, etc. Didn't need to change a thing in the recipe.

Forgot to note that the red pepper flavor in the dip does intensify over time.

Amazing! I haven't made the dip yet, but I put some thyme, salt and pepper into my flour mix and it is the most delicious onion ring ever!

Really good onion rings! I didn't have time to make the sauce - can't wait to try that next time.

Just made these for Superbowl and they were the talk of the party! So good, they're ridiculous! I used peanut oil for frying - can't go wrong there - but didn't make the dip. Next time! They really are the best I've ever had, and not too hard to make. Just a little time consuming.
