Amazing! They are so good! a bit bland but better than what you get in most restaurants. I am not much of a cooker but this recipe is so easy and foolproof. I made two onions worth...which is about a tray full and they were all gone almost instantly! So yummy and crispy!!! I used sam adams and it came out so dang good! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Great recipe. I added sirachi to the beer batter (be generous and did one last dredge in Japanese bread crumbs. My wife loved the the ones I did with the bread crumbs. The beer I used was what I had in the fridge; Bud Light...worked fine. Thanks to Paula Deen for the sirachi idea (from her Tea Brined fried chicken, and I saw Guy use the bread crumbs on one of his shows where he did a similar onion ring recipe. LOVE his shows!!!

I have made quite a few of Guy's recipes and this one is definitely on the mark or should I say they are "MONEY" as guy would say. This was my first time making onion rings and they came out nice and crispy. I wasn't sure about what beer to use since I don't know beer, but I went with a pale ale and it seemed to work. I don't think I am going to try another recipe. Since this recipe ain't broke, I won't try to fix it....Happy Cooking

Best damn onion rings ever. You may want to season the flour a bit more...

AWESOME! The first 4 rings I followed the recipe, then I added a few shakes of red pepper flakes to the wet batter plus i dredged them through panko bread crumbs. 6 onion rings was a meal. Didn't do the mayo dip so I can't rate that but the rings rocked.

Best onion rings ever! My daughter thought I made too many until she tried one. There were none left! I didn't make the dipping sauce this time, but will definitely try it next time. Not greasy at all & the batter stayed on.

When I told my husband i was going to make onion rings tonight, he was not that excited about it. After he tried one; however, he wanted me to make a second batch. The onion rings were easy to make and soooo delicious. Will definitely make this again. (Didn't make the dipping sauce
