Wow! Great flavors, this is going on the make at least once a month list. The only thing Guy forgot to tell us was to take the drippings, some of the beer from the can, a little chicken stock roux with flour and make amazing gravy!! Love the spices. I did cut the bacon in halfs to hang on the chicken. Just because someone said it was over powering. I think it would be great flavors even without the bacon. GREAT ONE GUY! You rock, love all your shows!

This was delicious! We did ours on our Traeger Grill, and it was amazing. I'll be cooking up a couple of these for a family BBQ this weekend. Thanks Guy!

This is one of my favorite recipes. I make beer can chicken once every two weeks in my house. It is a real crowd pleasurer. The chicken is seasoned so well. My boyfriend loves when I make beer can chicken. When I showed my friends how to make it they were so amazed. We have shared this recipe with so many of our friends.

I wasn't that big of a fan. The skin wasn't crispy and nether was the bacon. I like my roasted chicken crispy and it was just kind of soggy.

WOW! So good! I only used a few slices of bacon though. My kids looked at my creation and thought it was thanksgiving in March!! LOL!! Anyway this is a keeper. Now I won't be shy when I see the whole birds on sale.

I've been meaning to try this recipe for a while, and finally did today. Wow!!! I've made beer can chicken before, but with just salt, pepper and garlic powder for seasoning. We all agree that this is the best chicken I have ever made. My bird was about 4 1/2 lbs., so did the 450 degree first bake for 15 min., and then baked at the lower heat for about 2 hrs. I didn't use a full 1/2 lb. bacon -- I cut 4 strips in half, stuffed the ends in the neck and draped them down evenly over the top of the chicken. More than that may have been too much, as the chicken was just absolutely perfect this way!!!
