Amazing! I just served it to a group of friends and they all gave it two thumbs up! Tomatoes aren't in season right now, so I found a really good marinara sauce and jazzed it up with seasonings and fresh herbs. I also added the sausage to the sauce and let it simmer for a couple of hours before I assembled the lasagna. Turned out great!

My husband and I love this dish. Beware that there is a lot of prep time. I still make it, but try to make the sauce a day ahead (or buy a jar and brown the sausage a day ahead and store in fridge. I also agree with others that there is too many lasagna noodles. Worth it though!!

We were disappointed in the recipe. I made the tomato sauce, but there wasn't enough sauce for the lasagna. We decided that this recipe is not a keeper. We decided we will use the pepperoni and the Italian sausage with our favorite lasagna recipe. This was a lot of work for the results.

Made this for dinner tonight and everyone liked it. I love all of Guys recipes, the only negative is that they usually takes FOREVER to make. I would make this again, but next time I'll make sure I have some tomato sauce in the freezer.

WOW! This was a huge hit with the men in the family, women as well. I have to say that for me this was so out of the box. I loved it though! It took me a few bites to get over it was just nothing like a traditional lasagna and then I truly was able to enjoy every other bite. I would normally stick to a recipe, however, I have two little girls I had to use canned, diced tomatoes spiced with the said ingredients to cut prep time and it turned out great. Stick to recipe if you can. I can't even imagine how great that would be. Do me a favor and don't rate a recipe less than 5 stars if you didn't stick to the recipe. It's unfair to the chef/cook.

I made this for my boyfriend and his roommate and we all absolutely loved it. It was a lot of food so we had plenty of food leftover even though we all had seconds. The only problem I found is that I needed more sauce than what the tomato sauce recipe made. However that may have been my fault because I may have bought the wrong size roma tomatoes. Overall I will be making this again and would definitely recommend it.

I loved the recipe! My son and his friends loved it too!! I almost smahed the pan by myself untill I started to inviting my sons friends over for dinner. LoL there were some adjustments made. I added some veggies and used alittle less pasta. Other than that it was a winner with the kids and me!!

Remarkable flavor comes out of some pretty basic ingredients in this recipe! Love the crispy pepperoni and the sauce is delicious. Two areas need tweaking--there is way too much pasta in this dish. Next time I'll halve it & it should be perfect. Second, there's no need for 2 pounds of sausage-one pound plus the pepperoni made the dish meaty & delish!
