I have made a lot of lasagna in my house but this was by far the BEST and easiest recipe. I have 3 boys and they all made a comment about it. I guess it was time to change things up a bit, man am I glad I did. Thanks Guy, Your The Best!

This was a bad recipe. I cooked the two pounds of noodles and it only took one pound. There wasn't enough ingredients to do three layers. I didn't put any sauce on the bottom and then only had enough to do two layers of sauce/meat. There wasn't even enough sauce to put on top. Has good potential but I will definately never make again and would not recommend to anyone.

I spent half of my Sunday afternoon preparing this recipe and it smelled and looked delicious. Unfortunately I think it was the pepperoni that made it super salty. We could not eat it, that's how bad it was. Sorry Guy, this one was not a keeper!

This is so easy and delicious. I'll admit, though, I cheated the 2nd time I made it & used canned fire roasted tomatoes instead of making my own sauce. Also, I find it works better in the 9x14 pan instead of the 9x9.

My family loved this lasagna. I will still make the traditional kind but when I really want to kick it up a notch this is what I will serve. As for everyone's complaints about too many noodles or sausage, not enough sauce, etc. I suggest that they move out of their comfort zone and change the recipe to suit their taste. Way to go Guy!!!

I've made this recipe 3 or 4 times now and getting ready to make it again and just read through some of the other reviews which complain about the quantities etc. So...for those of you who are looking to make this awesome recipe, it's true, I think there are a few modifications you need to make, but it's well worth effort.

    1. Yes, I don't know what kind of lasagna pan he was using, but you don't need 2 pounds of lasagna noodles...one package is fine...but i use two anyway as I always end up tearing some of the noodles and want to make sure I have enough. And since they are probably the cheapest thing to buy for this recipe...I don't sweat it.
    2. The amount of sausage is fine...not too much at all...so no worries there. I thought it could actually take a bit more.
    3. The pepperoni...I bought 2 packages of the pre-sliced which was plenty...probably 16 oz altogether...which of course is about 2 cups.
    4. The sauce for this recipe is THE BEST...and you have to make it from scratch...don't take the easy way out and put on jar sauce...you will love this...BUT...the lasagna needs more than the recipe...so I would double the recipe plus I always add a can of San Marzano tomatoes to the sauce for a little extra somethin' somethin'.
    5. It takes way longer than you think. And i wouldn't call it Easy...due to the amount of prep required...but it is sooo good and your guests will love it. Truly.
