I watched him make this and decided to try it. First of all, I almost always follow the recipe and make no modifications. Two POUNDS of noodles and two POUNDS of sausage is just way too much---but I made it anyway. On top of this, it calls for two CUPS of pepperoni (would have been easier if he had given a real measurement here as you can't go go the deli and ask for two cups of pepperoni. Anyhow, aside from the ingredients being way off, this was a noodly, salty, tasteless mess. There was definitely not enough sauce, way too many noodles (even though only half would even fit and it was just too meaty and tasteless. If you put pepperoni on top (per the recipe it just burns up. I will not stray from my traditional lasagna recipe again. This was just plain gross and was very time consuming to make. I should have gone with my instincts and saved my family from this culinary disaster!

It was a nice twist on lasagna. It is especially fun for couples to cook together. My husband watched the show and then we worked together to make the dish. I normally don't make lasagna because I find it too tedious to do alone. He like the recipe, so I made the sauce and added my own twists while he cooked the meat and put the dish together. It was very good.

It tasted like a noodle sandwich with a lot of meat. Did not taste like a creamy stuffed Italian Lasagna. This is the third recipe I have tried by this Chef. All three were miserable.
