Very good! Use high quality cheeses, fresh herbs and simmer the sauce for at least 1 hour to blend the flavors and this is a killer recipe! I added Italian style stewed tomatoes, fennel seed,2 bay leaves and simmered the sauce for 2 1/2 hours. A little extra time wa well worth the wait. Fresh herbs should be held out until the last 15 min. of cooking the sauce to retain the fresh flavor.

Great recipe and super easy to make, even with two little boys running around. I cut the ricotta by half and added half a block of tofu for protein and no one knew the difference. It was very filling so we have leftovers too. Will make it again

Applause, Applause, Applause!!! I recently made this after my husband watched Guy make it and since it is just we two we had alot left but not to fret, it freezes and reheats really well and probably tastes better than the first time around as with most Italian food. Thanks Guy, this was fabulous.

Loved it. Like someone else said it combined pizza and pasta my two favorite things. The only thing was I didn't use ricotta cheese because I already know I don't like it and I did add a can of plain tomato sauce to the sauce recipe because I like my pasta saucy. I had to cut the recipe way way down to make it for my husband and I but we both LOVED it and ate the leftovers for lunch the next day.

I thought it was a good family friendly lasagna. I agree with previous reviewer that the recipe called for way too much lasagna noodles. A pound of lasagna is more than sufficient. Also, has anyone else noticed that the recipe calls for you to use 1/3 of the ricotta, 1/3 of the mozzarella, etc., and repeat 2 more times, and then on the top layer use the remaining ricotta, etc. Isn't it already gone if you've already used 1/3 on the previous 3 layers? Or am I misreading this?

Made this last week and came out fantastic. I used the no boil lasagne noodle and had it made in a flash.
