Yum!! I didn't have hazlenuts so I use some chopped pecans and also added some cinnamon and nutmeg. Loved the coconut in them as well.

I made this recipe subbing in light cream cheese, enjoy life allergen-friendly chocolate chips, unsweetened organic shredded coconut and cashews. Did require about 35 minutes all day to finish baking. No big deal. Very light, fluffy, lightly sweetened to perfection and the cashews only add to the butteriness of this cakey blondie. You could totally cut these into 1"X1" squares and finish with chocolate OR melted butterscotch chips. Yeah!

I got the recipe from FN magazine and it was printed differently there also. It called for more bake time. The 35 minutes stated was exact. Also, it called for the cream cheese to be creamed with the butter at the beginning of the recipe. I really liked these and may actually prefer them to regular brownies. I think if FN got the recipe printed correctly for all sources, most would be more than satisfied with the results.

Directions were off here. The measurements for butter were incorrect(3/4 cup vs. 1/3 cupand the cooking time was wrong...18-20 minutes had the batter still runny inside. Need to bake at least 10-15 minutes more. At least it tasted ok.

Love the blondies, Love the name of the recipe as well. I will make again and I have shared the recipe. At the end of the bake time I found they needed to bake a little longer. No big deal. They were a hit. I would not change any of the ingredients. Just the bake time.

I usually don't bake, but these were so simple to make! I' couldn't find hazelnut, so I substituted walnuts. They came out perfect. Thanks Guy!

i followed the recipe ingredients but reduced the butter from 3/4 c to 1/2 cup. baked at the recommended time in a convection oven and tested with a toothpick as suggessted. when i cut into the bars, the top was l golden and crusty and the inside was a runny mess. If I make this again I will increase the flour to double the amount.

I watched the show today too and Guy only used 1/3 cup of butter. One stick is only half a cup and he did not use the whole stick. Try with 1/3 cup of butter.
